Amma - Dagbók Dísu

Former teacher and farmer Hjördís Krisjánsdóttir, Grandma Dísa, has kept a diary for over 57 years. We follow up on her daily activities in the nursery home Hlíð in Akureyri, meet people from the past and get to know her sense of humour and lust for life, despite physical restrictions. The film is a part of the European Grandma project where European female filmmakers portray their grandmothers and their stories from the 20th century. www.europeangrandmaproject.com
